The sites were really close together. That was one complaint I had heard before, and yes, it was true. I think maybe they were designed back with RV's didn't have slides. We barely had room to put out our living room slide. It was almost going to hit our neighbor's picnic table. And on the other side, we couldn't have put out our awning, or our patio mat. But then, its Las Vegas. I don't think most people really go their to 'camp', but rather just need a place to park their RV while they do the Vegas things. This is the view of the back of our RV. You can see how close it is to the one next to it.
It was really close to the Boulder Station Casino. We love the buffets at the Station Casinos, so we decided to go there for dinner. The Feast Buffet there was really good, and the price, especially if you join their player's club for free, is really good. And, we went on Monday, and they have this 'Military Monday' thing, so when David signed up for his players card, he got a coupon for 2 for 1 buffet, so we only had to pay for 2. Our total for dinner was just over $25. Some buffets on the Strip cost more than that for 1 person!
It was a nice first day on our journey. Next stop - Zion National Park, Utah.
